So lets talk about my suggested picks as posted in my Linkedin profile above.

Match belongs to class 1,92 but I have no entries in my data set going back to season 15-16.

So the only option was to open the range a little bit if I wanted to get any feedback.

I worked on range 1,94-1,97 where I got 10 results.

Ten past meetings have produced 2-4-4 (H-D-A) with 6 over 2,5 goals and 7 both teams to score.

We also have the trend to HomeDraw being stronger than the Away.

This tells us very difficult evening for the visitors.

Lest go on. Home teams average 1,2 goals for and 1,6 goals against. If we use these figures into POISSON we get following:

I would also like to talk about moving averages.

I studied moving averages of every 5 games.

So 10 matches build 6 entries of such moving averages.

The first M.A of 5 produced 1,4 & 1,6 goals for & against respectively.

The 2nd produced 1,4 & 1,8 goals for & against respectively.

So the average of these 6 Moving Averages of 5 matches is 1,33 goals for home team and 1,80 goals for away team.

So if the timeline should continue like this how many goals should be scored by each team in order for the average to be around the tags of 1,33 & 1,8

The last 4 matches have a total of 3 goals for the home team. So we need to add “X” goals to the 3 and when divided by 5 to give us around 1,33.

So (X+3)/5=1,33 ==> X=5*1,33-3 ==> X=3,65

The same for the away gives us 3,00. The goals’ sum of the last 4 matches is 6.

So Y=5*1,8-6 ==>Y=3

Attention!!!

I am not saying that I am expecting exactly these figures to be scored this evening.

I tend to use them as a turning point in the data time series. I use them as an indicator that we might see 2 or more goals scored in total for the game and probably both teams to score too.

All said we just have to sit back enjoy the game and wait for the result.

Good luck to all!!!
